6 months ago when I was following the board regularly and RG was trying to get people onboard with an EC, there were many here who disagreed. Many reasons were cited including the hiring of the legal team who preserved equity for AA, as well as a wipeout being unlikely based on the value of the company, furnace sales, etc. (I'm going by memory if that's slightly off). So what's changed? Why was an EC now desirable?
