Given that GTAT is currently in the process of marketing the sale of certain assets, releasing this information would offer potential buyers an unfair advantage in negotiations, undermine GTAT’s efforts to maximize the value of those assets, and would impair the value of the estates.

"Marketing the sale of certain assets ..." - Hyperion, ASF ... anything else?
"releasing this information would offer potential buyers an unfair advantage in negotiations ..." - don't doing it so they would try to sell Hyperion for Mil. 1.2$ or even lower.
"undermine GTAT’s efforts to maximize the value of those assets ..." - Haw, haw ... incredible cheek!

In general I find it difficult to accept their way of reasoning.
For sure they are in trouble when providing it but hey ... to negotiate a sale of Hyperion in a range of about Mio. 1$ sounds criminal and worth to make it public ... They messed up their chances.
