if the ERC process reaches market acceptance as a way to deal with CO2 emissions from industry facilities, it will likely lead to supply of formic acid in excess of current market demand.
But then I'm pretty sure Ballard, Fuel Cell, Hydrogenics, and other H-based FC makers are all saying that it would be a "nice" problem to have. Heck, if the globe is in need of H-fueling infrastructure, then it's a pretty damned good sign the demand is there for H-based FC's.
