It has nothing to do with PC. It's the rules of the game. MLB clearly defines them and the Umps blew the call. The runner can not interfere with the middle infielder while he is in the act of pivoting AFTER the force out at second.

I had a few cocktails while watching the game but I remember that they reviewed the play and seen that that there was no force out due to the fact that he did not touch the base. I may have a fog there but that is what I remember....
