One of today's military contract awards (might involve us, see my bold):

General Atomics Aeronautical System, San Diego, Calif., was awarded on June 21, 2006, a $21,094,500 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the improved unmanned aerial vehicles and associated support equipment and initial spares. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (65 percent), Salt Lake City, Utah (25 percent), Adelanto, Calif. (5 percent), and Palmdale, Calif. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 1, 2006. The Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-03-C-0124).
