DuPont found liable in water pollution case, Bloomberg reports DuPont (DD) has been found liable in a case alleging Teflon-contaminated water resulted in a woman's kidney cancer, the first of roughly 3,500 lawsuits related to the matter, reports Bloomberg. The jury awarded $1.6M in damages, though Bloomberg notes that Chemours (CC) will ultimately be responsible for any damages in the lawsuits.
