The album is not equivalent to the whole gallery, but its equivalent to a SINGLE painting, according to some musicians.

A painter PLANS to sell all his paintings separately, and does't make someone buy the whole gallery. To SOME musicians, breaking out the songs for individual sale would be like cutting the canvas of 1 painting into pieces.

But that's not important. What I'm saying is Apple iTunes should allow Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Metalica sell their ENTIRE album if they want to, and not force them to break it up. Get them on board NOW.
