Etrade sent me 2 notifications today that the margin maintenance requirements for wmih has changed from 25% to 100%.

I called them to get more clarity. They said that Etrade has made a decision to not having as many dollars committed to lend for wmih margin trades.

Either the brokerages know something is coming up, or they simply aren't sure of the wmih vagueness and want to stay away.
