Housedad, how else can GTE be sure the "customer" is serious and not just wasting GTE's time as the Russians did?

ALso, it may well be stipulated that the "customer" receives the deposit back if it doesn't test satisfactorily. Who knows?

Also, when you test drive a car, the dealership doesn't have to send a team of people out to your home with parts and then assemble the car for you.
