Nuke My wife did Kidney disease research at Yale .
She's currently a PA ( physicians assistant ) at a dialysis unit at a major hospital in SF and runs a stage 4 CKD clinic

Can you give me any more details.
How is your blood pressure .
Have you had blood tests for serum Potassium levels etc .
Are you diabetic or pre diabetic ?
Whats your waist ...are you over weight

I am not an MD but I hear about CKD patient issues on almost daily /evening basis .
Wife says ...quick comment .
She would not be concerned if your GFR was above 60 .
But IF its trending lower she would need more details ...as per my questions above .

If you can not afford Vascepa then I suggest 3gms a daily of Omegia Via EPA....and a Mediterrean type diet with regular exercise .
But , need more details if U have time ....especially blood pressure and whether you are diabetic or not .
Once again ...am not an MD , just hear about CKD issues on a daily basis
