Sounds good. But not true.

The dividend shares don't create value. They are treated just like a share split.

I repeat: zero value is created with this dividend. The only difference is how they are accounted for on the company's books.

What this dividend does is lock up 1/2 of the value of shareholder's shares, untouchable for a year.
