I think your missing the point. Money was put into the E-trade accounts. It wasn't an IOU, so please pay and we can catch up with you later (don't think so....). So the money was funded, deposited and now ppl that have accounts with E-trade cant touch it. Yet everyone who doesn't have an account with E-trade is having no problem. I don't even use E-trade, had no problem with the divvy, or withdrawal. So there is way more too it than E-Trade just looking out for the best interest of their clients. If that was the case, Im sure they would protect them more on every transaction and not just this one and only one!
