Amazon uses third party shippers (and that can be the manufacturer) on new and slower moving products.

MSI still had to do a presentation to Amazon to be allowed to be sold through their website.

Obviously Amazon saw the product and the reality of the product to be available for sale. Amazon sells a lot of things, but they do not sell things that do not exist!
