Nice Tidbit from that flyer Hunter posted,

Standardizing sapphire manufacturing operations on the ASF platform will allow companies the ability to utilize GT’s current volume production 165 kilogram technology today knowing their investment is protected as GT introduces subsequent generations of future ASF furnaces with the capability to produce even larger boules.



I think if there is adequate assurance that GTAT will be continuing R+D and improving its Boule size creation over time, Sapphire producers will start buying into GTATs ASFs. This thought my be outdated since its been many months since GTAT started marketing ASF's, but hey.

Why must Longs and Shorts hate each other? Can't we all just get aLONG?
