1. You immediately suspend all activities with controlled substances. If the(named dispensary) does not immediately cease all activities with controlled substances, we will contact, within 30 days of the date of this letter, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for enforcement action as they deem necessary, and
2. Submit a written statement indicating that the(named dispensary) will not conduct any activities with these substances without a valid licence. The original copy of your written response signed must be received in this Office by September 21, 2015.

11 Days out. I feel for these long standing Compassion Clubs. They have been doing good for the Cannabis Culture, Themselves and the Growers. Not only will business change, a lot of peoples lifestyles will change. But if your doing something that is clearly illegal, for nearly 2 decades!, there is no acting surprised when the law decides to enforce itself.

So if the Mom and Pops decide to stay open till the RCMP come in and Confiscate everything, arrest anyone inside and heap major fines, who is the beneficiary? Not Lps. The folks that buy from dispensaries will simply ignore the store front model and go back to the good old street side model. Maybe a few people will go to MMPR, not much. I can imagine the smart dispensaries are moving all the product out of the stores as we speak and figuring out another way to skirt the system.

Remember, TWD is not counting on the Vancouver scene for success. Vancouver is incidental. That's why the share price hasn't moved much. IMO. Its like the Conservatives don't care much about the BC vote anyway either. Green Thumb Pot smokers Against Black handed Oil Tycoons. You cant really think that compassion club members will all of a sudden run to the LP's after 30 days. Buddy up the street that was supplying the Dispensaries is still in business out of his basement and has a new harvest ready to go.

Maybe the Allard Case will have more impact on the grow. This, seems to be a whole lot of "Smoke" and mirrors. Coincidentally, where there is smoke there is fire. So, yes, the potential of this having a major impact on the elections through media coverage is great. For the next few weeks every BC division of every major National News paper is going to have some freelance reporter publishing their opinion on this, and eventually, questions will be brought up on the campaign trail. Thus bringing the issue near the forefront of the Election Campaign. There is a long way to go. And if Idiots BC Candidates running for the Liberal Party keep telling People its ok for Kids to inhale second hand smoke inside households, the conservatives wont have any trouble taking yet another one. Sigh
