That last post got a bit side tracked from the original topic. The last new Wialan Partner I posted wasn't something Wialan went after.
My Navy son lives right on the Lake Erie beach. They wanted to have a block type party that went for about a mile. They wanted to broadcast music down the beach but there was an issue with stringing cable.I figured it was a one time thing and I gave them Wialans number. He says they're using it for all kinds of things now.

Then there's this new block watch system. I did this cause home owners were bugging me. For 1k a person gets 3 Swann day night cameras, opt pan/tilt ; a 4 port wifi router with T style inputs; and a small program for the lap. They can plug the existing security system into the T style conn to monitor doors/windows and watch the front door/back/garage door with their phone while at work. If going on a vacation they can switch viewing to neighbor(s) or block watch.

Right now I have the master console and get to see to skinny dip parties,etc. 5.00/month from ea member. Someone made and brought me a choc cake yesterday.

I'm an applications eng. and I've been doing stuff like this all my life. This is really HOT. If Wialan doesn't grab this and run with it they're fools.

BTW Free WIFI goes off at midnight now.

OH.. the wifi boxes act as repeaters. The more people that join, the larger the roaming area.
