Thanks for this long post of that patent application. Patent protection is important for a company, but many times these patents actually end up hampering progress in a field and flood the patent office with these types of IMO useless patent applications. These people are trying to patent a process or method for combo treatments- what is obvious in this field and has been done or currently being done by many researchers and companies- and now these people are trying to corner the market in immunotherapy! Can we say, "Greed!" Good luck trying to defend this patent if it ever gets approved in a couple of yrs. Way too broad and too general and not novel enough imo. But interesting nevertheless. Covers all the CI and ALL cancer indications and potentially ALL different combos. Way to go! No more room for any other cancer researchers/companies. Goodbye AGEN, ZIOP, KITE, etc.
