F6, do you think anyone (public "servant" or private individual) should be above the law? Do you think this country has a major problem with the "crony capitalism" of both political persuasions?
I, for one, believe the US electorate MUST start punishing candidates when it is revealed that they brazenly traffic in influence peddling and a willingness to operate with conflicts of interest.
What gets me is there are defenders on both sides that try to defend their mascots despite when there are major flaws in the character of these "characters".
Whether it is Trump or Hillary, this country will continue to decline if we (the voters) do not send politicians and candidates packing when they violate basic tenets of professionalism and responsibility in the performance of their jobs. Whether you are the Secretary of State, a retired general as head of the CIA or a GS-12, the rules apply to everyone.
It is our fault that we are even considering these candidates.
But, ultimately, it is OUR fault.
