Problem is, if he is brought up after tomorrow, he does not qualify for postseason. Would Maddon really go with him full time, rather than a player that would qualify? If my fantasy team was out of it, he would be a no brainer as a pickup looking towards keeper status for next year, but cannot afford to have a part time player clogging up my roster. Tough call I guess!

What I really need right now is OF depth, so scouring the waiver wire for potential OF call ups for teams that are not in contention. That could be my ticket for a potential end of year stud. Just not sure much is out there, as most of the top OF talent expected to make it this year is already up.

Thought about picking up Trayce Thompson for my Sox, but Ventura still seems to be playing LaRoche most days, leaving Thompson as merely part time. Might make the move with the hopes the Sox decide to give him a look for full time and shut a very disappointing LaRoche down for the year. Trayce can rotate in the OF, allowing for the various OF's to get rest days as DH.
