Lets not get the cart before the horse.... read the verbiage very carefully..... Floyd Abrams uses the phraseology..."explore the possibility of settlement" the last line is the tricky phrase....."the parties will file a joint letter advising the Court of their views as to next steps in the case." Let's not read anything into this letter that isn't there. Doesn't say anything about Amarin & FDA have reached any agreements. All this postulating is rubbish talk right now. And I'm extremely long and adding as I can....... :D)

I write pursuant to Your Honor’s August 10. 2015 Order directing the parties to confer as to
next steps in the case and to submit a joint letter regarding the same. The parties have agreed to
explore the possibility of settlement of this matter. Accordingly, the parties request that further
proceedings be staved until October 30. 2015. on which date the parties will file a joint letter
advising the Court of their views as to next steps in the case.
