Its no BS its the same questions i'd ask off any supplier. I was actually thinking of opportunities here, as you know yourself we have lots of wind, lots of remoteness and we already have similar systems here so its not too radical to make anybody run away but it would be different enough to be sale-able dependent on its quality. Dependability and not cost would be the biggest factor for any state organization. If the $ keeps reversing and the price was right there would be sufficient margin to compete with retail options even with added import duties considered.
Customs and excise, im sure would like these in all the small inlets. Even its presence would stop alot of the drug drops from Spain/South America and the stealing of boats and outboard engines. They can't monitor them all without power. It would likely only have a few months payback.
The Roads authority would also have many uses even for protecting equipment during construction.
Also your family is probably not too far from where i live as its full of Conways.
