I have not seen these multiple posts you reference but I have seen where it was stated by the company that the Series G is a poison pill. That was also obvious from the time it was issued. Weather they would be part of a buyout would be unknown to anyone other than the parties of that buyout therefore posters making statements like that would be irresponsible and essentially lying.
I agree the "buyout" is more phantom than not. The positive proof would be in a certain type of continuous buying we are just not seeing.

A buyout would almost certainly bring a share consolidation, however, such a consolidation would not necessarily be bad for current holders. Just because your share count is reduced doesn't mean you automatically loose money. Companies that have revenues and profits, however small, are the few companies that do come out okay in an R/S situation.
