i don't think it's very easy. wave's business model probably wasn't a great match. it isn't like the content owners will just give some no customer company a big revenue share just because they say they can distribute bits securely. they'd need a constructive idea about how they can deliver a market someone else cannot. witness the success of wxp.

think of the folks that succeeded. netflix had a customer base.
