Bonehead pick for Beat the Streak...

Knowing full well Lester was pitching today with his personal catcher David Ross behind the plate, I picked Miguel Montero in Beat the Streak today.

D'oh!

I'm watching the game and in the second inning, I'm wondering where Montero is in the batting order.

Every day I prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am an idiot.

I suddenly had to root for Lester to pitch a complete game as when he comes out, so does Ross and I didn't need Montero inserted late in the game.

Fortunately, the guy upstairs knows how stupid I can be, so he also gives me the opportunity to redeem myself.

Fortunately, I included Kris Bryant in Beat the Streak today.

What a game!
