This sounds far fetched but I truly believe Linda knows the long/short game and is smarter than some think. The only reason I can think of for the secrecy was perhaps they were setting up a short trap. Or they knew it would give an entry opportunity for Woodford, a man that gave them a lot of money, help when they needed it, and clearly has said his patient capital trust is looking to be fully invested by year end and he deems NWBO still as a bargain opportunity (before today's dip). This could set up a PR next week how Woodford "bought X shares on the open market during the sell off and he's now an X% owner."

This may very well be wishful thinking because if today wasn't part of a larger plan then I give this management too much credit and I will keep saying that they need to hire someone to handle investor relations. Hell I'll do it. They need someone that cares about their cause and the long investors. Not some PR firm that has a bunch of clients and doesn't get the games shorts play, and clearly Les is too busy and not doing it in a timely manner.

I don't know which scenario it is but I do know from my own trading role that somebody was definitely buying using an algorithm today. It was clear as I watched the tickets all day. Especially through until about 1 maybe 2pm. Lots of share blocks of 100 and multiples of 100 hitting the ask in Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) fashion. It made me buy some more because I am very confident there was a sophisticated purchase going on. I just wish I waited until the end of the day. That damn hindsight is so annoying sometimes...
