Don't ignore the loss of funding for poorly performing sites in the UK:

"In future, our funding to providers of NHS services is becoming conditional on meeting benchmarks, including a 70-day benchmark to recruit first patients for trials. We made this a condition of new contracts from Autumn 2011 and performance will affect funding from 2014."

And from NWBO's own PR where they hyped the UK:


" The NIHR also oversees the performance of the sites, and imposes penalties on the sites for shortfalls such as lags in enrollment."

Do you think 260 days for the first patient enrolled would be considered a "lag in enrollment"?

But hey, NWBO in their own PRs and 10-Ks indicated expansion in Europe is what all that Cognate money is going for so you should be alright. Maybe they can pay Cognate a few bucks to get it going even quicker? Perhaps get it down to 250 days?
