Sticket - Actually, no. I switched often during a gig.

Last band I was in I ran two snares, a 14x7 and a 14x5, both chrome. 14x5 was tight, gave crisp, sharp sound. 14x7 had looser heads, more mellow, deeper sound.

Good contrast, especially for blues.

BTW - This is second time you've posted the same message to me, but I haven't learned EDIGista speak yet, so you'll have to make it plainer if this is not what you were referring to.
