There are other approaches, incineration is one, but it's expensive in emissions citations, permit violations and such. If it's placed in a bio cell approved temporary storage, allowed to bio degrade and you can demonstrate no damage to surface or ground water and can reuse waste water it can just bio degrade. Thes permits are easy to obtain, cells easy to engineer and construct and the costs are life cycled throughout the operation. Makes bagasse that much more attractive.
