IMO you're correct. Imagine the lawsuits if
the shareholders at the ex-date are told that, 45 days later, they changed the date to Aug 18...
You can imagine that a stock tanking that much with such promises likely will never deliver.
Thankfully for them, people are trying to find all sorts of reasons why the dividend is still 'in limbo'
Man, the company must be sorry they only increased the 300M to 975M rather than 2 billion. lol
