St. Georges Metals, a company closely affiliated with the CMKX promotion, today issued the press release pasted below this narrative.
In that release they claim to have entered into a letter of intent to acquire a mining asset currently owned by Nevada Vermiculite, LLC, and proclaimed a value of the proposed asset of $30 million. The mining asset, located near Hamilton, Montana was previously used as the centerpiece of the Stansbury Holdings promotion. The announcement prompted a brief, although transient, surge in price and volume.
I contacted the Montana Department of Environmental Quality and spoke to xxx, bureau chief of the Environmental Management Bureau.( (406) . Mr. xxx informed me that the property in question was in the process of being reclaimed in a joint Montana/US Forrest service effort, and that there was thus no possibility of the mine becoming active. He had no knowledge of St. Georges prior to my call, and he stated that anyone contemplating a mining operation in Montana would routinely go through extensive contact with DEQ prior to any announcements or claims. In an off the record statement another DEQ representative called the claimed valuation "unproved and questionable."
Since CMKX is under such intense scrutiny, they appear to be attempting to use allied shells to continue to sell (unregistered?) shares into the marketplace.
I know you guys have a lot on your plate, but this action is a continuation of the campaign of pump and dump schemes by this joined-at-the-hip group of scams.
