They've eaten jalapenos out of my garden before. Of course they're not as hot as habaneros.
Funny thing...I have three poinsettia plants in bloom (left over from Christmas)...on my patio and I noticed they nipped at one of them consuming at least one bloom. I think it's the leaves that are supposed to be poisinous but surely they must have eaten a few of them too.
BTW, I have at least 20, if not more...oleanders planted in my yard. The deer avoid them like the plague...I guess some instinct tells them how poisinous they are.
