Are we supposed to like and forgive A-Rod because he's playing well or are we still loathing his existence?

Last year and over the winter, I recall the Yankees trying to discredit him and get out of that contract.

Sorry for not keeping abreast of the situation. I'm probably the only one here that doesn't follow the Yankees very much.
