I know he answers prayers, we are witnesses to this. But I will say I sometimes have prayed for long periods without a direct answer, once for almost 3 years for my son, who seemed to be on a path to nowhere. I can only say its either that he answers some of my prayers because he gets tired of hearing me, or it gets answered in his time. maybe its a mix, all I know is that you are correct, and going before him humbly and confidently seems to be better than crying out to him emotionally. sometimes emotions are the result of selfishness, ive done it both ways.
