...hello trunkmonk. ...interesting thought for today, and what i have come to the conclusion is, if i had say all these prayers answered say 50 in a row, or every very important prayer answered every now and then or etc, then when the first one that came by and not was successfully answered what would i think then? Especially with these very importand even life or death prayers and healings we all have for those around us or even ourselves....
On the other hand, if i had 49 straight unanswered prayers or requests or cries out to God from my Soul....and then the 50th one was clearly heard and granted - how much more thankful would i then be? Or if one of several very important prayers i (always) have were answered in even a relatively short period of time - how miraculous would it then truly then feel and be? And, i think with in the first case i would probably quickly become rather spiritually lazy and priveledged as every request and prayer and or very urgent matter i had was granted (then turning God more into one of those genies in a bottle lol). But, in the second case i would have to stay Strong spirtually and in all prayer, pleading my request in all humbleness to God, and like what you say just having Faith that He knows exactly what going on and trust Him.
In a world of infinite possiblities and a like-wise Freewill, having this faith and trust in God is the only true anchor i have ever found.
