Buffett dumped COP last year, as I recall, a great move as it turned out.

BRK's latest report shows he recently unloaded two other oils. I'll have to look up the details. I'm shopping for a quality oil stock but it's worrisome when Buffett discards all his oils.

OTOH, his just-announced purchase of Precision Cast Products is putting some pressure on BRK's financials. The oil sells may mostly have been a way to strengthen the BRK balance sheet. But why sell oil and not something else among his 80 or so holdings?
