None of that makes sense once you realize what I've posted about it so many times. And that is that the big dogs KNOW all this ahead of time & they KNOW how it's all gonna play out (assuming the portfolio is what it's cracked up to be).... And so the cat/mouse scenario you speak of is stupid because the big dogs will ALL lose.... its INEVITABLE! THERE IS NO WAY FOR THEM TO NOT HAVE TO PAY THRU THE NOSE EVENTUALLY, RIGHT??? So going thru these "motions" now (the scenario you describe) is not only a waste of time, but will wind up costing the big dogs more & more as the infringement piles up. This is the proof, as far as I'm concerned, that it's much much more than meets the eye going on and there is GOOD LOGICAL reason why no one has ever made a move to buy the portfolio.....EXCEPT VPLM THEMSELVES! Their plan (or scam?) just is not working. The never ending patent work is, in my opinion, just more ways to prolong the failure & to sell more shares. It's a folly. If it was all for real as you believe it is, then someone (besides vplm) would've easily been able to ascertain the awesome value via years of DD, and snatched it up cheap, to not only protect themselves from all the infringement costs, but also as a killer investment & most of all, such an "all controlling" & "foundational" voip portfolio would almost instantly convert any voip service provider into the true leader of the pack, in fact inevitably turning them into to a monopoly. I find these to be indisputable & inescapable facts, which this who believe in this apparent folly of vplm, read but ignore.
