If you are a BIG company, and you know that a little company has patent protected disruptive technology to impact your company in a BIG way, are you going to announce it and make it public? Who do you think owns the major media? My bet is that you are going to squash anything the little company does to try to go public, and you are going to tell the little company to go to hell and a hand basket. The little company would then need to address what it's going to take to force the BIG company to comply. They do this, first, by enhancing their portfolio. They make sure that no matter what, they know that they've done their best to to have everything in order before they attempt to present their BEST CASE to the courts when the time comes.

Hence... great law firm involved, and child patents getting buckled down.

Then add to that the slime bag who tries to take the company down from the inside. Now the little company ALSO has that POS to deal with. For all we know, BIGS could be paying him off for his efforts to stifle the little company.

Hence... extra time working with SEC and lawyers over bogus lawsuits and protecting their shareholders from fraud.
