Aeris, I understand what you are saying, makes a lot of sense to me, however this is Mario's call when to drop the PR. They already said once before (last October) that they'd be in production by January,'06 and they didn't make that deadline, although that was a different set of circumstances, where they depended upon another manufacturer to make the valves and I guess they didn't like the deals those manufacturers offered them. Looking back now, I've had a feeling that last October when they released that "we're on track for January" PR, they might not of had a deal signed yet with a manufacturer and they may have been using that PR to apply pressure on various manufacturers they were dealing with at the time to give them a better production deal. Or the one they had a deal with backed out for some reason. Or maybe SaVi backed out because they wanted to do the microprocessor upgrade right away.
That's when I think they decided to make lemonade out of lemons by doing the microprocessor upgrade to the valves last January and started making plans to get their own production equipment. Right now I think Mario is in a conservative mode because of all that recent past history and probably won't say anything till he sees some valves come off his own assembly line. I think, he doesn't want to announce a false start again.
As far as orders are concerned from what we heard from Lucky they've already got about 1000 trucks that will test the valves, if SaVi puts them in and latter after they get feedback from those initial trucking companies, that their fleet is using less fuel, they'll probably sell the valves to them at cost because they were the first ones. This initial production run is going to produce the data and proof to sell more valves to other trucking companies. If there is significant savings, these trucking companies will jump at these valves to save money on fuel.
I wouldn't mind a PR any day now but Mario is the boss.
