I agree but don't necessarily see the conflict. Maybe I should have defined hardware solutions more tightly in my first post. I was thinking of TPMs.

It sounds like Widepoint has done what I thought Wave would do years ago. Lever other kinds of hardware.

Wave has always been mostly focussed on TPMs for MS/enterprise platforms (safend being a late exception). I think it is this which doomed the company. Wave assumed the inevitability that never emerged.
