The one I saw looked like a shark fin with a bunch of little curved pipe looking things running through it…. they produced it additively so as to eliminate the multiple pieces/parts- like the holes running through it were seamlessly connected to the rest of the metal. No welds needed. It's in the pdfs of a lot of his presentations- I will look for one. He talks about it pretty much every time as an example of designing parts that are AM-specific and emphasizes how they have to think outside the box.
