So...the "buyback" actually occurs a year from now?

The PR certainly seems to infer the "buyback" starts this week...does it not?

It is not a "buyback" until it is a "buyback".

In the scenario you describe the OS is not reduced for a full year UNTIL the actual "buyback" occurs...and even then it is not a "buyback" but merely the return of shares for "cancellation" as the company is not buying them on the open market.

There is ONLY one definition of a "buyback"...the COMPANY buying the shares itself.

A "leveraged buyback" is the use of DEBT financing in order for the company itself to buy the shares on the open market. A leveraged buyback IS NOT someone else buying the shares and having the company turn them into restricted shares via the T/A.
