On my Schwab account, I received more WMIH shares, but my P markers are gone. I hope they will be replaced (they should be replaced) by LTI's.

My U markers are still there.

Sent a message to Schwab:

Yesterday I received XXX shares of WMIH from the WMI (Washington Mutual Inc.)Liquidating Trust, reflecting a distribution on the escrow markers that have been in my account for over three years. I was expecting that distribution.

What I was not expecting is the removal of the XXX escrow markers that I received when my old WMIH preferred shares (class P) were cancelled early in 2012. This is troublesome because all claims against the WMI estate have not been completely resolved. When those claims are resolved there may well be a cash surplus, and the escrow markers that were removed evidence my claim on that surplus. I am hoping that the escrow markers that were removed will be replaced with a similar number of a new instrument, "Liquidating Trust Interests". I had thought that this would happen contemporaneously with the removal of the escrow markers, but it did not.

What information does Schwab have on this subject? Did the WMI Liquidating Trust instruct Schawb to remove those escrow markers?
