Did you read the court filing and see what Saleen was requesting the court to do?

Now, with that in mind they asked for the following:

1. Removal of ALL and ANY defamatory statements made everywhere.
2. Permanent injunction against the defendant Frederic Lambert.

What is happening in this "settlement"?

EXACTLY what Saleen requested in the above TWO points!

What is Fred getting out of all this?

1. Not having to spend money he doesn't have as he already stated " he doesn't have the money to defend himself based in the $10-50k retainer for this case.

2. If he was found guilty he could also be criminal charged for defamation based on the Canada laws.

So yes, this is a "settlement" in regards to the courts eyes BUT in reality Saleen came out winning this one because they got exactly what they asked for.
