Brothers, sisters, friends, strangers, and aliens, as you may or may not know, I live in Maryland, less than an hour from Bioelectronics. Well, I went there a week ago on Monday and had a nice chat with Andy. He gave me a few samples, both of the UK trial and the real thing, and I am wearing it. Firstly, I can join the ranks of bielievers and tell you that it works (at least where it is placed) and I can also shed some more light to strengthen your faith.
Andy said sales have been good so we should see something promising there. He also said they are not waiting on the FDA to issue their order before filling another 510k. They filled a 513k recently and the FDA MUST respond to that. They may just approve the 510k as the confusion was always about the lack of heat and the belief of the FDA is it couldn't work without the heat.
He gave me a copy of a completed study and asked me not to post it because it isn't released yet (you can still get it if you know where to look) and I must say it is very encouraging.
He also said what we all know. Once approved, it will be in every Walgreens across America.
Andy also said he doesn't watch this board, so you can stop worrying about that one.
The best news? He said if you get a prescription he can give it to you. And he said probably even a librarian can get you a prescription for it. So go get one, Seven! You don't have to lean on your mule. :)
Now the bad news... whenever Andy talks about numbers and data and the like, he leaves his eyes closed for the duration. It may be nothing, but that makes me nervous. That being said, we discussed the possibility of a future R/S and all I will tell you is that there are many other applications for this technology and they will all require studies and well, studies are expensive. You get the drift... sometime in the future a R/S has to happen.
