Antimony is a rare earth element used in industrial metallurgy to harden metal alloys, steel etc. It is vital as used in this industrial process. Antimony is also in short supply. Without Antimony the durability and strength of products will suffer and be weaker and inferior. The use of alloys in modern industry is why we have Formula One engines that can hit 20,000 R.P.M.
