Flawed mathematical logic and lack of understanding of cash flow.
If the average deposit = $7K the number of customers waiting for tuned cars = 257.
If the average deposit = $20K the number of customers waiting for tuned cars = 95

At 89% COGs on an $70K average priced vehicle, Saleen would need to purchase and pay for $16M
of inventory and direct labor to tune 257 cars or $5.9M to tune 95 vehicles.

$1.8 million/$7k = 257 cars
Im just saying the average is $70k per car. Of course if the average is lower then its more orders, more its less orders.

Saleen's headcount is 21. With no lead Engineer.
Saleen has $21K in cash. Saleen is tuning and selling one car per week or 5 cars per month.

Where is Saleen going to get the cash to purchase the $16M of parts and labor to produce these 257 back logged orders? or even the $5.9M to purchase the parts and labor to tune 95 cars?
Saleen already spent the customers deposit money. That's the issue.
Also what has now been pointed out. Saleen has between 95 --- 257 pissed off customers waiting for cars, not my conservative estimate of 63-65. So the list of victims may be much higher than I reported.
The bottom line is Saleen is so broke they are not paying their rent or payroll taxes, insurance, or their vendors so how would they purchase all the parts and hire all the direct labor to tune this many cars?
There may been many more lawsuits coming than I originally calculated. Thank you for this information.
