Your statement is incorrect, in that the $100 million loan is not additional equity. The $100 million dollar loan could be considered a wash on the balance sheet, as the debt is now working capital. Technically the the balance sheet is neutral, minus acquisition fees and interest accrued until, the monies are spent. Any capital borrowed is always listed as a debit on the balance sheet.
