Kim has more than a slight credibility problem.

The thing i've noticed in the past was that Kim would provide an estimation, miss the mark and wouldn't explain the setback(s).

We may never get to know specific reasons for certain delays but he did explain there was a survival rate problem at one point:

The Company previously reported that its pilot production program’s viable silk cocoon yield rate was at approximately 30%, in late 2013. By March, after launching the commercial production ramp up program, the yields increased to approximately 70%; more than double the output efficiency from the pilot phase. The latest report is that with the increased scale of operations in May, the high yields appear to be holding, and possibly improving even further.

I'm assuming that while KBLB was further enhancing properties of the MS silkworm, there was probably an undisclosed survival rate problem in the lab....

If not that then it took much longer than expected to enhance specific properties in said silkworms.....

At any rate, whatever the problem was,it appears to be rectified and i'm all about progressing, not regressing....

For the first time in a long while, KBLB posted a definitive timeline for the Spider Sense Newsletter....the 29th....

Lo and behold, it's here.

I'm seriously hoping it's the beginning of more accurate timelines....

All the while knowing of Murphy's Law.

When Howland said "years away" I took that to mean 4-5 but Kim led us to believe the "mundane" would be much sooner. (Which I personally took to mean 1-2 years tops)

Years away for the more complex projects; not the mundane.

It was stated today that:

It is our goal to have at least one or two major sales and distribution agreements signed in the second half of the year.

He also stated 2015 in an article, which I don't presently have time to search for.

In all fairness to the process:

May 5, 2014 PR stated:

Kraig previously shipped Monster Silk™ yarn to Warwick, which after studying the material, requested that it be processed to additional specifications. The material was shipped back to Kraig and then studied by a silk spinning expert who analyzed the fibers. The fibers were then processed according to the directions and specifications of the spinning expert. Recently, Kraig received the reprocessed Monster Silk™ and shipped the material to Warwick. Warwick is now testing and analyzing Kraig’s Monster Silk™ recombinant spider silk and determining the best ply and cord twisting for yarn optimization in preparation for creating sample textiles.

So let's say Late March-Early April 2014....

Two years would still be in 2016....

Even if one goes back to the JDA, which was October 21, 2013

The two year mark hasn't even officially passed with that either....

All i'm saying is give KBLB the time to work its magic....

PRESENTLY

Blessings to All

I've never claimed to have all the answers but feel i'm beginning to corner the market in questions worthy of them.
