As outlined below, Anavex 2-73 trial will experiment with 30mg and 50mg oral dosages. Both of these doses resulted in zero adverse side effects and did not result in headaches or dizziness as did 55mg and 60mg dosages. Missling's comments stating that dizziness was a good thing at the Marcum conference is somewhat concerning at first glance, given the fact this might indicate the drug is working in the brain. Still, I doubt this suggests dosage below 55mg was ineffective. Even if it were, the adaptive trial design allows Anavex to modify initial dosage plans in the midst of the trial. Just my opinions here.
