AVXL Shorts increasing....Short info

My take usually goes with this questions: "What will traders/investors likely do when there's a potential major catalyst on the horizon?" With this, we'll see buying into next week more than those that can/do short penny stocks. Bio/Med stocks can squeeze extremely fast and in big numbers.

Remember, trading IS people. Psychology is critical in trying to understand what's taking place on the other side of the trade, so to speak. I'm staying w/ the logic that AVXL has a very solid uptrend in place, near 16 month highs with Clinical Data to be presented next week. here

Technically, we'll need to see AVXL close strong for the week near or above .54 and trade higher until data is released. IF data is what we should all want, for the sake of the patients, we will see big time buying and a massive short squeeze.

I'd rather be flat than short. Being long is as risky as short but I'll take that w/ a small position. If I have to add on a massive gap up I'll do it. But I'm holding for now.

Keep in mind the trend and avoid letting posters influence any trading decisions.
